About me

I began my flexibility journey in 2009 while taking pole dancing classes. I trained contortion and flexibility at several traditional circus schools before moving to Los Angeles, California where I found Kristina “Nekyia” Canizares and her modern approach to contortion training. Not being born naturally flexible, my range of motion blossomed when I started training other flexibility techniques beyond solely passive stretching. I am now a firm believer that most bodies will respond best to a well-rounded approach to training, including mobility work, PNF, and active flexibility exercises in addition to passive stretching to increase range of motion without pain. I became one of Kristina’s first Fit & Bendy Certified Instructors in 2015 and have been teaching flexibility and contortion, online and in the greater Los Angeles area, ever since.
